Cancellation policies

MotoRentals provides three standardized cancellation policies: Flexible,Moderate,Strict. These policies are designed to protect both renters and owners on our platform. Each motorbike listing includes the applicable cancellation policy.


Canceling a Reservation:


Renters can cancel their bookings and review any possible penalties by visiting their travel plans and selecting ‘Cancel’ on their reservation. Once the renter submits a booking request to the owner, the owner can view the renter’s canceled reservations history for the past 12 months.

Full Refund:

Available if canceled at least 24 hours before the motorbike's scheduled pick-up time.

Example: If a renter has a booking for 3:00 PM on June 8th and cancels the booking before 3:00 PM on June 7th, a 100% refund will be processed.

Less than 5 Days:

If canceled within 24 hours of the pick-up time, the first day's rental fee is non-refundable, but subsequent days will be refunded.

Example: If a renter has a booking for 3:00 PM on June 8th and cancels the booking after 3:00 PM on June 7th, the first day of their rental is non-refundable, while the remaining booked days will be refunded to their bank account.

Early Drop-off:

If the renter decides to return the motorbike early, fees for the unused days will be refunded.


General Notes to Consider:

  • Delivery fees are always refunded if the renter did not take the trip.
  • MotoRentals rental fee is refundable if the renter cancels booking before the start of the trip. However, if a booking overlaps with any part of another reservation, the rental fee is non-refundable.
  • Base fees (the total day rate you are charged) are refundable under conditions outlined in each policy.
  • Complaints among either parties must be reported to MotoRentals within 24 hours since the trip started. MotoRentals will act as a mediator and would have the final decision in disputes.
  • A reservation is considered canceled when the renter confirms cancellation through their dashboard. They can find it through Dashboard > Your Trips > Cancel.
  • Cancellation policies may be adjusted by extenuating circumstances or as outlined in the Terms and Conditions. Please review these exceptions.
  • Applicable taxes will be retained and remitted.
